Is everyone having happy respective holidays so far?

It's probably nice to kick back on SugarLoot after spending all day waiting in line to exchange that goofy-looking sweater your aunt gave you.

However, I'm just giving you a little reminder that if you stumble on a profile that you know is fake, or is harassing you, or is showing/saying things that even Sarah Silverman would find vulgar, please report it.

It is very easy to do:

At the top of every profile (right under their name), there's a link that says "report". Just click there and tell us what exactly they're doing and we'll take it from there. If you want to alert the staff about anyone who is bothering you, that is the best way to let us know.

Also, there's a link to block that user if you wish to do so.

Well, I'm going to go back to watching the 117th airing of A Christmas Story.

I had the weirdest dream last night.

I can't remember exactly what it was about but I dreamt in Meez. Everything around me, including myself, was all in this 3-D Meez world. It was crazy.

I guess this dream makes me want to feature a Holiday Meez entry as the entry of the day.

So, you bought all of your Christmas presents.

They are all wrapped with sparkly paper and you are just so excited to give them to your friends and family.

You place them under the Christmas tree and suddenly you see two puppy-dog eyes staring at you.

Oh no! You forgot to get Rover a present!

Well, we're launching the next round of Cutest Pet just in time.

Sure, the winner won't be announced until January but pets don't mind if their presents come a little late. After all, they don't use calendars.

Do you know that feeling when you have a crush on a celebrity and you daydream night and day about marrying them and then one day, you finally get to meet them?

No, I am not talking about a horribly bad but awesome made-for-TV movie on ABC family.

And I'm also not talking about the time I met Pauly Shore.

I'm talking about Mandy, the winner of our Cheetah Girl's Singing Contest.

SugartLoot sent her to the Z100 Jingle Ball and she got to meet the men of her dreams, the Jonas Brothers!

You guys have no idea how happy I am for Mandy. Just check out her Jonas-themed profile and you'll know why.

Even in the midst of all her bliss, Mandy found the time to make a video for us showcasing her awesome time.

Well, with all the hype over the holidays and concerts in New York City and finding out that every athlete ever is on steroids, I completely forgot to congratulate the winners of Prettiest Eyes and Cutest Pet.

Congrats to Mae for winning Prettiest Eyes and for unknowingly developing a new color line for every contact lens company.



I never thought a dog could ever have better posture than anyone who ever went to finishing school, but apparently it is possible. Congrats to Eli and her dog, Ice, for winning Cutest Pet!

You guys might not know this about me, but I love going to the dentist for one reason and one reason only:

They have copies of Highlights magazine.

Even though I'm probably about twenty years too old for reading them, I love playing those games such as "What's Missing in This Picture" or "Can You Spot the Three-Legged Turtle in This Picture?"

That is why I am super-excited about this upcoming contest, Where's Santa.

Basically, take a picture of yourself and either have a drawing of Santa hidden in it or photo-edit a picture of Santa on it. Let the SugarLoot community find him. The one who has the best hiding place for Santa will win an iPod Nano!

Now, I thought I had a pretty good hiding place for Santa. You may not. But if you need a bad example, check out my entry:

As many of you can remember, last month we held the Best Evanescence Inspired Style contest. Heather won with flying colors (like black and red) and Sugarloot sent her to NYC to see Evanescence live.

Now that she has returned, she made a sweet video documenting her trip.

She has some great pictures plus some amazing footage of Amy Lee that MTV probably couldn't get.

Oh, and she also has a healthy and romantic relationship that so many people are lacking these days. Yeah, she's lucky about that, too.

Hm... I wonder what they're going to talk about. Maybe they'll discuss that FirEdhel won a $200 American Express gift card or how Ben Lee's autograph looks like chicken scratch on the "Ripe" CD, which she also won in addition to a poster.

You know what I just thought about? Do you know how lucky we are that we launched Best Couple now in 2007 and not like in the 1980's or something? Because then, FirEdhel would receive a call from some band like Milli Vanilli or something. Yikes.

Anyway, enough with the existential thought and on to the shout-outs to the second and third place winners of Best Couple. Congrats to Geysa whose picture I think was posted everywhere and Tyna who somehow managed to take an old-fashiony photo and not wrap her leg around a bar stool. These two lucky winners will receive a copy of "Ripe" and a poster.

Okay, that's not really an entry, but some people might find these chicks sexy.

...Maybe?

Okay, maybe not.  So, as most of you can guess, Hottest Girl is one of our most popular contests.  I know, can you believe it?  People actually like looking at hot girls.  I am just as stunned as you are.

However, since SugarLoot is not an amateur "you know whatsy site" (hint: it rhymes with horn), we have to draw the line somewhere.

Yes, if Sex and the City taught us anything, there is a difference between sexy and slutty and racy and raunchy.  Bikinis?  Sexy and racy.  Wearing nothing but a smile?  That can be a little slutty and raunchy.  I hope you get the point.  (Wow. I feel like I'm having a sex talk with the daughter I never had.)

Now, ladies, this does not mean you need to replicate the outfits of those hottie-nuns above.  Unless you want to, which is fine.  Er... I'm sure you'd get 10's...

However, I would recommend not exposing parts of your body that are susceptible to... infections.

Also, I would try experimenting with all the different types of apparel that can cover your chest that are not your own hands... or someone elses.  (Did you know there's a thing called "tops"?)  

If you wish to expose more of your body, which is fine, there are plenty of other websites that welcome that sort of thing.  I bet you that you probably know at least one person who has all of them bookmarked.  However, SugarLoot wants our content to be suitable for everyone, including the under 18-ers.

Now, I know all of you think it is romantic, but I just want to offer you a few warnings if you ever attempt this type of kiss with your loved/liked one.

First of all, from personal experience, girls, if you whip your head around too quickly it will cause nerve damage. That means you'll have a stiff neck for two weeks and everyone will think you look like a confused puppy.

Secondly, yoga training is recommended. Ladies, please do not attempt to twist your neck if you are prone to any medical conditions.

Finally, don't try this kissing-stance on a poster of Ryan Gosling on your bedroom wall. It's just embarrassing because, ultimately, someone, and I won't mention any names, will walk in on you.

What is up with all these ads showing every part of the female anatomy in some of the tackiest swimwear imaginable?

Also, we've seen enough celebrity costume malfunctions. This video advertised about Paris Hilton's top falling off is about as new as the building of the pyramids.

Seriously, the second its gets a bit chilly people suddenly become nostalgic for seeing some skin as if the last time they ever saw a girl in a bikini was fifty years ago. (Hello! You can see it right now in Hottest Girl.)

Okay, thank you for giving me the opportunity to let that out. I'm done ranting. Plus, I don't want anyone to get distracted from two of my favorite contests that are starting up.

If Santa could give you love for Christmas he would, that's why we have friends and loved ones. (Please, please someone cross-stitch that sentence into a pillow for me. That was prophetic. Yes, first there was Aristotle. Then, there was Nugz.)

Anyway, this holiday season show how much you really care about your loved ones by uploading the least awkward picture of the two of you to win either some sweet cash or an iPod Shuffle.
