Personally, I add someone as a fan if I think they're cool, take good pictures, or if I want to get to know them better. You don't necessarily get more votes by fanning [lol nice use of words there] but if you get to know them, then you do. I just noticed I have 1OOO+ fans, so I can't necessarily talk to all of them x].

I don't get the channel for SNL :/ But I definitely think fanning cool people > fanning for votes.

I definitely fan people to get to know them better and most of the time b/c they take good pictures... also when they like the same things I do. Sometimes I forget I met the SL friends online and I'm like wow... I haven't actually met you?

Two things: 1.) katie: yes, the family reunion skit on SNL totally rocked. i got a call from the east coast telling me to watch it and it was totally worth it when it aired my time. 2.) I like fanning people to meet interesting people on SugarLoot. Of course, since I am a staff member and can't win, it's hard for me to answer that question, but I definitely fan people to meet some awesome 'looters.

i know some people just fan someone who has only a few fans so they get in their pics of fans...over and over and are just obsessed with the number so they just grab random people for no apparent reason. I think it should be something you attain over time... you get emails about these people....deciding after talking with someone or really liking their entry. Most of my fans are people who had an interest in me vote/pic/friend..whatev. I try and keep mine real.

I add people because they look cool and someone I could probably be friends with in real life that have the same interests as me.The only problem is,I can`t really talk to people because my parents don`t want me to talk to someone that isn`t there,which I`m sure most people are real,but like my partents say "You never know"I never talk or add guys though because I have gotten weird comments.

SNL the one everyone here is talking about was on NBC it comes on saturday nights on that channel the one on E are just repeats of older episodes.

I know what you mean AshlieHVC! It does mean that being a fan doesn't always mean voting for them.
