Hey all. I'm Dev, a friend of Nugz and also part of the SugarLoot crew.

It's interesting to hear how folks ask for votes, but ultimately don't know if people are following through or if they're doing nothing - or worse, downvoting. In fact, it reminds me of what they call the "Prisoner's Dilemma". Let me explain:

Suppose Nugz and I were driving together, and we wrecked someone's bumper while trying to parallel park. (It happens.) Somehow the cops can't prove that we were responsible, but they can get us both for some minor charge - maybe a parking violation. So what they do next: they put us in separate rooms and make us each an offer - if we confess, the other person takes the full blame, and they drop our own minor charges.

• If Nugz and I stay quiet, we both only get the minor charges. Maybe that's a $50 fine.
• If Nugz talks but I stay quiet, then she goes free while I pay for all of the damages. (Maybe $1000!)
• But the reverse is also possible. Maybe I should be the one who talks.
• But if we both talk, we both share the trouble, and we each end up paying $500.

So you see, we're both tempted to be lame and do what seems best for us - lie to the other person and hope to get away with it. (Maybe I'm downvoting instead of giving daily 10s.) But if everyone does that, then we all end up losing. In fact, it's better to try to play "nice", since that ends up better for everyone.

In other words: stop the downvoting!

Let's get to know Sammi. Not only did she perfect the beauty queen wave when she competed for Miss NJ, she is also a whiz when it comes to designing her own dresses. She is currently entered in Private's Most Glamorous and I guarantee none of her answers include the phrase, "the Iraq and everywhere like such as..."

How did you get involved with pageants? What is your favorite part about competing in them?
I've always watched Miss Teen USA & Miss USA on TV. And I always wanted to be a pageant queen... I haven't won yet, but I'm not giving up until I do! My favorite part about competing in them is that you get to try new things and meet so many people. I'm a lot less shy than I was 3 years ago and I've made so many friends by competing in them....

Why do you like designing your own dresses?
I like designing my own dresses because you may not be able to find what you want at the price you want it... You won't ever have to worry about having the same dress. And, who knows, maybe I can get discovered and become a real designer!

What is your favorite part about SugarLoot?
SugarLoot is cool because it's an easy way to win things. I was actually looking for scholarships and I came across this site. It's fun and you can meet people on here, too.

Memorial Day Weekend is a week away. What summer blockbusters are you excited to see?

The entries for Best Entourage have been awesome. If your entourage were the characters on your favorite TV shows such as Sex and the City, Gossip Girl, or... well... Entourage, who would each of your friends be? Who would you be? Does anyone else have the same fate as me of being labeled Sophia from the Golden Girls? In 500 Words or Less is a film that follows the stories of different students applying to college. The winner of our In 500 Words or Less contest will get to be a part of this exciting film's promotional materials. If you're in high school or a freshman in college you should enter this contest because everyone has a unique and interesting story to tell about figuring out what they want to do with their lives. (For example, I have a great story about how learning to juggle is way harder than it looks.)
