well i think that you should wait until its almost over, because then the people who only gives 1s dont ahve enough time too. and i could campaign for more, and i will be in the front

i think its smartest to enter right from the beginning and get tons of votes to stabilize your score from downvoters, it doesnt always work though (prettiest eyes is an example of when it did not work for me), but its won me 3 out of 4, working on 4 out of 5!

hey staff, i think you guys should do some sort of birthday thing, so when its peoples birthdays, it should be announced to their fans or something, just an idea i had (totally off topic)

I think you should enter whenever
when you enter last minute
your chances of getting downvoted is more than that of the person who has already been in it.
but if you enter in the beggining, you will have alot of one's as well as tens
but I usually enter in the beginning and if there is alot of downvoting, I enter towards the middle

I have a lot of tactics to win, which can be seen in my past contests ;]. Most of those are a secret though :P

I have tried during one to enter last minute & it hardly ever works. Well maybe it works for people who cheat, but I don't cheat lol.

Thing is while you need a score, you need votes. && you'll only get enough votes if you start early. If you have a ton of votes & a lot of downvoters, you're score won't change much which is a huge benefit. Sometimes it will be worth entering last minute, but I would always stick it through.

mine is enter at the begining nd cmpaign like crazy xD cept that usually ends with me getting 2nd or third place =C

Well it is a good idea to enter as early as you can but...then again last minute you might get 200 downvotes and lose anyways. I plan on entering yo momma but not till the end.I don't wanna waste my summer lol.

I think you are safe entering toward the end if you already have built up trust with a group of people who know you are a dependable daily voter and they are quick to get on and support you. If you are new here, or ask for votes and are not good at returning...ya better get on early. I have always got on first thing and worked really hard. One contest at a time.

I say wait until it's almost over, but I also say it's unfair to vote for people in the same contest as you because you're tempted to down vote so you can win the contest. It's unfair voting.

well. downvoters are gonna downvote no matter what. and i can never get enough votes. so if i see a contest and i like the prize, i go for it.

is this site some sort of joke? why can't people just let there picture speak for itself? campaigning?! most of the top photos for "shoot the moon" suck, yet the remain at the top because people give 10s. i don't 'downvote' like an ass, but i give an honest rating. campaigning just rewards the person not necessarily with the best photo, but the one who wastes his life spamming 10s and comments.
