We have recently launched many new contests, so it looks like we need a new conversation to promote your entries. Why should we vote for your entry? Why do you feel you deserve to win a specific contest?

With some new contests underway this week, we need a fresh conversation so you can shamelessly promote your entries. Get those votes, 'looters and become a master at copying/pasting.

Here's a list of contests that feature Facebook Applications. Our contest applications can be installed right to your Facebook profile. These apps help you rack in the votes because your friends can give you ten's from your Facebook page. If you get your friends to install the application, then you can get even more people to vote on your entry. To install these applications, click the red box above the score on your entry, or just click below on the contest that you entered. Just fill out a few more questions and within moments you are well on your way to earning more votes and a higher score.

What are your favorite YouTube videos? Why do you like them so much? I personally can't enough of videos with people falling off of treadmills. What about you?

Clinton campaigned hard in Philly this week, but we're sure you can do a better job getting the votes on your entry. Use this conversation to promote your entries to let the entire SugarLoot community know you are in it to win it.

We are excited to launch the Max Ride Do Something To Save The Earth contest because we love watching your videos. We know you guys want to make the best PSA out there, so here's a place to swap tips and tricks for making the best video. Ask your questions about lighting, sound, or anything regarding uploading a video to SugarLoot. If you're a long-lost Coen brother, share your wealth of video-knowledge with the rest of the community.

Hey 'Looters. Here's the place to promote your entries to get all of those important votes (and keep other conversations free of contest spam.) Campaign all you want! We're going to run these discussions weekly so they don't get too long. Promoting your entries will improve your chances of winning. People will see your entry on a regular basis and know that you are serious about winning.

The top contenders for Best Band Video include incredible videos filled with angst, anger, and allegories that probably flew over my head.

Gambling for the top is Midnight Creeps. With the robust vocals of Jenny Hurricane, "Memorial Day" makes you want to be a red-lipstick-wearing-punk-rocker living in a black and white video.





Colin is the Grandmaster of the number two slot for his video for the band, the Kamikaze Monks. If anything, "Open Your Eyes" is the vehicle for the Lego man to finally receive his well-deserved 15 minutes of fame.





The future does not look obsolete for the third place contender, Mutate Now. With the sound of the B-52's and the look of a freshmen biology teacher, this video makes my nightmare of having Mickey Mouse hands nothing to be ashamed of.





The winner for Best Band Video will be selected this Thursday.

Let's take a look at the top 3 contenders for Best Couple (and not the best sex position.)

First place is Monica Starr's entry.



She and her boyfriend, Brady, seem to share the same fashion sense.

daniela's entry is in second place.



Now, I may be wrong, but I'm going to assume (and I'm just assuming here) that this photo might just be from her wedding.

Samy is in third place with her entry. The main consensus is that this photo is "cute." And it is.



The winner will be announced June 20th.

Hell's Angels better watch out because the top 3 entries for Baddest Bike can "roost" even the meanest "hooligans" making them nothing but "squid".

Here's a fact: I have no idea what I just typed.

I googled biker lingo to sound cool like the top three contenders for Baddest Bike.

Who am I kidding?

Steve got the holeshot. (Okay, that is the last biker reference. I promise.)



For some reason his bike is oddly reminiscent of the Cheetos cheetah, but alas, it is a TigerBike and it's great.

The freak out over that one pimple... the tears over not being a member of prom court even though your friends promised to vote for you... slow dancing with your guidance counselor... spiking the beverages with malt liquor...

Submissions have closed for May's Hottest Guy, but that doesn't mean we have to stop drooling over this past month's eye candy.

The competition is pretty close.

Apparently, there are a lot of magicians out there with some awesome tricks that top the popular pull-my-finger routine.

I am still stunned that he managed to match my exact signature on the joker card.

Coming in at a close second is wes who seems to have more eggs inside of his body than most women. Check it out.



If that trick is for real, then wes will never die of a protein deficiency.

jack is in third place fulfilling the fantasy of most of us by making $1 bills turn into $5.
