Even while sinking, we're still there for each other (; This is me & my Best Friend Meredith & was taken just last week, on our Chorus Trip to the Bahamas. As the routine, you are required to go through the safety procedure with the life jackets, so we decided to have some fun. We've known each other since the end of Kindergarten, & have shared so many laughs & tears together. Yes, we've had some fights- but they were all pointless, & took less than a week to get right back on track. No one knows the definition of BFFL better than us two. My favorite quote about a true friendship, that doesn't last just a few years, but lasts for a lifetime; its what truly describes us: "They're the people who actually listen to each other's stories. They're the people who will comfort each other when they're sad. They're the people who can make each other laugh no matter how depressed they may be. They're the people who will let each other cry on their shoulder. They're the people who will always tell each other the truth [no matter how much it hurts]. They're the people who will call each other at 12 a.m. just to tell them good morning. They're the people who will make each other chicken noodle soup when they are sick. They're the people who will stay up until 3 a.m. to help each other study for a test. They're the people who will let each other raid their closet. They're the people who will drop whatever they're doing just to make them happy. They're the people who love each other exactly the way they are & never try to change them. They're the people who are allowed to make fun of each other [& won't get punched]. They're the people who go to each other for advice. They're the people who know more about each other then they themselves do. They're the people who can finish each other's sentences [without it being freaky].
