Well, ladies, I bet you all already know about what I'm gonna say next. Yes, I have been aspiring to be a model ever since I was sixteen. Don't we all, lol? Every young girl seems to want to be a model lately. We start with taking random pictures of ourselves, and eventually, we found ourselves getting more provocative in front of the camera :) ahaha...But that is okay. Because that is what we do. We are sometimes seen as chameleons, we transform in fron tof the camera, and the person in front of the lense does not necessarily mean that is who we really are in reality.
But girls, you are missing something very important. We allwant to be models, but do we ever stop and appreciate ourselves for what we have besides looks? I kkow it is hard in this world that values beauty so much. But that is one thing about myself that I would like to announce that I am proud of. I believe that I am a little bit of everything, composed of both BEAUTY and BRAINS. I not only rock the camera but rock my grades as well :) I want to prove to the world that models are not "unintelligent", beautiful creatures. No, I will show that we are much more than that, creatures with feelings and a mind of our own.
Whether the outcome of this contest comes in my favor or not, I appreciate all of you helping me out. Thanks for all the support. Unfornately, in the end, I cannot compete against all the down-voting that some members are pounding at me. I know modeling is my passion, and I will do everything to prove it, but competing against a bunch of other girls who love to hate and down-vote me just to get in front, is somewhat silly. How...can my passion be evaluated by others who does not even once glance my picture, but just gave me a "1" just so they can get on top?
My life is overwhelming with work and full-time college, I cannot compete in an unfair battle forever. BUT the journey for a break into the modeling industry continues...Good luck to you all :)
Simple, I use the "Voted for Me" feature now, and since I use that, every entry that popped up must be "voted for me", am I correct? So I go through every single one of them, is that not correct? So if you try to downvote me, haha, expect KARMA.
I'm baaack from Arizona and back with the dailies!
OK, to be honest...Arizona did not turn out to be as fun or exotic as I thought. It was unbearably and unforgivably hot, each step was painful! The only fun part was the water skiing and the swimming >_<" Blah. It never felt so good to be back in your own bed and your own shower!
OK, so I have had votes from other people in the same contest as me saying they have left me a 1O. Of course they can't prove it and I can't prove it, either, even if they copied and pasted the proof, 'cuz we must know by now that the proof means sh#t. It can be altered. So no, stop with the downvoting. Yes, I've said it. Stop pretending to give me 1O's so that I can naively vote 1O back for you when you gave me a 1. I might be blond, but I'm far from dumb, darling.
I have, however, made a few mistake 1O votes in the past for people in the same competition, but likewise, it was a mistake, so it only happened once or twice and I regret it, believe me. I'll be honest that I didn't want to give them a 1O, sheesh =D But yeah, so point is, do not vote for me when you're in the same competition. It also doesn't help when your voting is set to private. I don't care what excuse you got, reality is, there's no reason you should be voting privately if you're truly truly honest. So what if people think you downvoted them? Tell them you got timed out later.
Tyna is uber busy, busy, busy. I know I have an Edit-O-Rama up but if you have not received yor pictures back, please please, please keep in mind that I am soooo very very busy. I got finals and essays coming for the end of the school year, and work is also taking a toll on me, I'm so very tired. So please, I would really really appreciate your patience. Please, please go through your comments by using the "next" button until you don't see anymore new comments, 'cuz sometimes, I voted for you very early and then 23586 other comments piled on top of mine, and then you start to think I didn't vote for you or voted without a comment so that meant a downvote. I don't need all that accusation anymore, so either add me to your dailies so you will vote for me always, or remember to check your comments.
Okies, luvs, let's get ONE thing cleared...
So please don't interrogate or ask stupid questions like "did you really vote for me?", "where's my proof?", or "do you vote privately?" No shit, I vote privately, that's why I announced that I vote publicly? Does that make sense? NO, so accept my vote or tell me to never vote for you again and risk losing me as a loyal voter. I have high values, and I have been raised as a good person, so when I say I vote honesty, don't push it further with stupid interrogation. Being suspected really really upset me, and I don't enjoy that at all. Therefore, I'd rather you out of my life than continuing to faithfully vote for you only to get sh#t thrown in the face.
Please don't be whining and complaining about losing 'cuz "whoever wins did not work hard for it". Don't even start, I would know well the feeling of losing at the last second after all the hard work, blah blah. Always, I swear, always, I'm not even kidding, I would hold 1st place forever, and then lose at the last second. And I am not the only one it happened to, Zoe is one of many that I know that faced the same thing. Life is cruel, life is unfair, and so are these contests, if you haven't realized that by now, it's time to open your eyes. Nothing is fair on this site. And you can refer to Jeff's profile for more facts on the unfairness of this site. You don't win through "honesty and hard work" most of the time. No, it's about how you lie and cheat through it without being caught.
Now I am not saying for us all to lie and cheat nor am I lying and cheat, ever. But that is how some hackers and downvoters win.
I have lost a contest that I really loved to someone who just wanted to win for "shit and giggles". That hurt, it did. However, I am serious, so please don't be too angry if I happen to "steal" the spotlight from you, I did not enter 2 days before the contest ends, and when I entered, I must love the contest and I am serious about it, so at least I did not just want to win for "fun". I worked hard for every contest I've been in, too. It's a competition, we all have reasons to win, so let's all be good sports and not hate on the one who wins. I'm seeing a lot of that lately.
Bottom line is, again, nothing is fair, and all your hard work will possibly mean nothing in the end. Does this sound familiar, those of you that have read my old profile? You don't really win through "hard work" here, my friends. There are, however, a very few who actually have won with "hard work".
My recommendation for playing this through honestly, fairly, and through hard work is to gain popularity, not on here but on other sites as well so your friends can come through for you. Mine did, and NO, I did not cheat or downvote anyone, my voting is set to public, and if I voted, it's a 1O, and I left a comment. I don't know how else I can prove myself. Believe me or not.
So I was going around, giving out 1O's, right? And posting comments as I do them, too. But then, towards the last 2 minutes, it timed me out, and said "go get a liquid refreshments", and I waited and waited and it's been more than 1O minutes right now, and I still am not able to post, lol. How strange, but yay, I still won!
To have even a slight chance at winning something on this site, you gotta be on the computer constantly to watch and protect your score from dropping. And also, your chance will be much better if you enter 1 or 2 contests at a time, instead of those that I see that have 5+ contests or more. NOT good, think about it, nobody is really gonna go through and vote for all 5 of your entries just so they can get 1 1O returned. Having too many contests will result in you winning nothing at all, really.
