What is SugarLoot?
SugarLoot is a contest website. You can enter contests for the chance to win prizes and rate others' entries to help determine the contest winners. It’s free to be a member and enter contests on SugarLoot.

The site says I can't register with my email address - what does this mean?
This usually means that an account has already been registered with that specific email address. If you think this is a mistake, send us an email.

What if I forget my password?
Click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the SugarLoot login page to get to the "Forgot Password" page. Enter your account email address, click "Request Password," and you will be sent an email containing a link. The link will take you to a page where you can create a new password for your account and get back into SugarLoot.

I tried that and I never received an email?
Sometimes email programs block email from addresses they don’t recognize. Make sure you can receive emails from . Also, some mail programs may incorrectly move the password email into the spam folder - you might want to check in there as well.

How do I change my password?
To change your password, login and click on the "Account" link on the top right hand side of the SugarLoot homepage. Select "Change Password" and follow the instructions. As with all passwords, it's best to use something that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to figure out.

How do I change my email address?
To edit your email address, login and click on the "Account" link on the top right hand side of the SugarLoot homepage. Select "Update Email Address" and follow the instructions. Once you change your email address, this will now be your new login as well.

How do I change my information?
To update your nickname or information, login and click on the "Account" link on the top right hand side of the SugarLoot homepage. Select “Edit My Information”, once you have updated your information click “Save.”

How do I cancel my account?
You can deactivate your account at anytime by going to your deactivation page.

What is a "verified" account?
In order to be eligible to win contest prizes, you need to "verify" that the email address you have provided for your SugarLoot account is actually yours. To do this, we send you an email when you first register with a link that you click on to confirm that you received our email. If you missed that first email, you can verify your address here.

What are Fans and Favorites?
Fans are people who like you and your stuff. Favorites are people that you like. Here's an example:

If you like Jenny and her contest entries, you can click the "Become a Fan" link. Now you're one of Jenny's Fans, and Jenny will show up in your Favorites. As a Fan of Jenny, you'll get updates when she modifies her profile or submits new contest entries.

How do I become someone's Fan?
If you want to become a Fan of someone click on the “Become a Fan” link at the top of their profile and follow the instructions.

How do I stop being someone's Fan?
If you want to stop being a Fan of someone click on the “Stop Being a Fan” link at the top of their profile and follow the instructions.

How do I block someone?
If you want to block someone go to their profile and click the “Block” link. Blocking someone will erase all comments from that user from your profile, photos, and contest entries. It will also prevent the user from making further comments on your profile, photos, and contest entries. Blocking someone will also stop you from being each other’s Fans and appearing on each other’s profiles.

Is there a minimum age to register for SugarLoot?
You must be 13 years of age or older to register for SugarLoot. Some contests may have specific age minimums, be sure to check each contests Official Rules before you enter.

How does SugarLoot make money?
We make money from ads placed throughout the site, and from contest sponsors. We do not sell information about individual members to anyone.

Can I suggest a contest?
Absolutely. Just send us an email with your idea.
