YOUR SCOOP FOR THE LOOT

LOOT LAUNCHES NON-LAME FACEBOOK APP
Gianna

This month's Hottest Girl is simply exploding. We've got an all new prize for the contest, plus we have an all new Facebook application that's been skyrocketing SugarLoot's hotness to a whole new level. With our new app, you can get more people to vote for you (including those people who friended you because you had playgroup together when you were 2.) Furthermore, you can vote everyday while you stalk your exes to see if they're dating anyone else. It is a win-win situation, really. Plus, the application reloads itself after every contest.

As you can tell by the entry above, Playboy Bunnies need self-esteem boosters as well. We guess the Hef hasn't been giving Gianna the same attention as he does with his other 527 girlfriends.

We can see why it would seem a little unfair to have Gianna enter Hottest Girl, but given that most of the staff are male, we really never got a chance to bring that into consideration.

Plus, Gianna has been playing by the rules, which, in this day and age of model-fierceness, is quite saint-like. Heck, she may have even had the idea for the Honest Voters Clan.

If you're bummed that a professional model has been stealing your title as Hottest girl, you should stop being a Facebook purist (i.e. application-free -- we know you exist) and install this app. It guarantees you more voters, plus it will help you establish a voting network with your friends for future contests (perhaps, an acting contest of sorts?)

TEEN CHOICE TROPHY GIRL ON THE LOOT

Chalice and Avril

You've seen her profile. You've heard the rumors and they are true: We've got last year's Trophy Girl, Chalice, from the Teen Choice Awards on SugarLoot. When we found out she got to be in the same room as Zac Efron, we just had to ask her a few questions. Based on Chalice's interview, our staff member Nugz devised a list of rules on how to become a superstar.

Rule One: Use your nose when you meet Zac Efron

"One thing I do remember about him was that he smelled A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I hope that doesn't sound weird, but it's true. He also didn't mind taking pictures with me which was cool. Zac is really down to earth and a super cool guy. Meeting him made me feel like one of the luckiest girls in the world."

Rule Two: Own your celeb crushes. It's okay to have a crush on Frank Caliendo.

"All my female friends were like, 'OMG YOU MET ZAC EFRON, MILEY CYRUS, and JONAS BROTHERS. WHO WERE YOU MOST EXCITED TO MEET?!' and my response was, 'Ryan Reynolds'. Most were like, 'Who?' Then I started naming movies and they just said, 'Oh that guy.'... Out of all the stars there that night, he was the one I wanted to meet the most. That moment literally took my breath away and he looked HOT that night, too. Way better looking in person. No doubt."

Rule Three: Schmooze it up: even Dane Cook can shut up for once.

"If we wanted to just hang out with a certain celebrity all night, then we could do that. I mean we did have to actually work and take the boards onstage, but in the meantime there were plenty of celebs to chat it up with... I had a long conversation with Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus, Dane Cook, Nikki Blonski and Hilary Duff. Plus, of course Ryan Reynolds. I also love Michael Cera and I would have loved to talk to him a little more."

Rule Four: Forget Scott Baio's career: Once a celebrity, always a celebrity and it begins the second you land that Doritos commercial.

"I'll most remember how much of an experience it was for me since I love acting and this is how actors and actresses are treated. This award show was directed at young teens, which is what I am so I felt like I belonged. I had my own 'dream team' working with me. I had an agent handle everything as far as my scheduling and letting me where I was supposed to be and what time. Then I had a wardrobe stylist and make up artist prepping me when I needed it. I'll never forget how excited I was... Also, once I make it to college and graduate, I plan to move to L.A so this was also an opportunity to see my future residence area. I won't forget any of the advice the celebrities gave me... Just the feeling in general of being treated like a star is what I will never forget. I mean, HELLO?! I was on NATIONAL TV!"

Rule Five: Always make time for your real fans, as in your fans on SugarLoot.

"I hope everyone will add me as a fan because I love meeting new and interesting people... I love the contests. The prizes are amazing. I love how everyone's page is just so cute and it reveals a lot about themselves... Also, I do daily tens with anyone that asks! LOL"

Ashlie and her bbf and bf
HONEST VOTERS DO WIN ON THE 'LOOT

There have been a slew of SugarLooters lately with "HVC" in their names. For a while we thought there was a bunch of High-Value Criminals on the Loot, but then we realized that HVC stands for the Honest Voters Clan. We think it's cool that the word "clan" can now be associated with something progressive. We'd just hate to see a new group of allied voters called the "10-4-10 Nazis". (Have any thoughts about the HVC? You can discuss them here.)

Needless to say, one member of the HVC happens to be one of our latest winners from our last Best Best Friend contest. Ashlie has a relationship to be desired. Not only is she in love with her boyfriend, she's best friends with him. This opened our eyes to a new concept: You can actually like the person you're in a relationship with? Crazy.

Anyway, Ashlie was stoked to give her boyfriend his well-deserved iPod shuffle. "He was happy! Now he has something to 'clip to his hard hat' while he's busy with training to be an electrician. I'm sure he'll fill it with his many unique styles."

Even though Ashlie will be rocking out herself listening to Muse on her shuffle ("They are the most amazing rock-gods in the world"), she will still make time to hang around the 'Loot. She loves meeting people on our site. "It's definitely a lot of competition, but the people you can meet are amazing." Well, now everyone needs to join the "We Think Ashlie is Amazing, Too Clan."

Do you think you and your best pal deserve an iPod shuffle? Then, you should enter our next round of Best Best Friend.
