The new contest is something to make most of you step out of your comfort zones… PUNK ROCK theme. I want you all to put on your best punk rock outfit and show us a fierce rock pose. This photo can be taken indoors or out- whatever gives off a punk rock vibe. I posted music for inspiration (let me tell you, it is not easy to find punk rock music without swear words or explicit content) as well as some good photos to follow for what you should wear. I know that this photo shoot will not be easy for most of you- not only do you have to have the look, but you also have to have the attitude- make us think you are an actual punk rocker! Because of the upcoming Fourth of July Holiday, we will give you extended time for this photo shoot. The deadline for your photo to be turned in is Friday, July 11. Multiple people will be eliminated so you better step up your game. Rock hard everyone.

Brownie points are sort of exactly how they sound- every time you do something that Lolipop or I think is credible, brownie points are added to your “baking sheet”. Whoever has the most points by the end of a month or reaches 16 brownies first gets a prize. Your prize could be anything from dailies to a featured profile to a free photo shoot pass. So just how do you get points? Doing something not expected of you that Lolipop and I like such as turning your photo in early or getting 1st-3rd place in the photo shoot. There will also be special brownie points that you can earn for the latest photo shoot. In this photo shoot [punk rock], you can get brownie points by wearing converse all-stars in your picture (and have them be visible). Go on and earn your brownies already!

7/1: happy july 1st! ok, i had a blog before this one, and it's not here! that makes me sad =[ hmm..where did it go? now this is going to bug me. well, it basically said that the judging for the last photoshoot was extremely hard! i think duckie and i actually sat around for a day looking at my pictures. i'm not even kidding. so yeah, that's what it said. so duckie had this fabulous ideas of brownie points. i like how she said something about "we'll put them on your baking sheet" or whatever. i laughed. (: i can't wait to see your creative pictures!

6/17: we just had a disaster beyond disasters with our profile. i, being smart, was messing around with my personal profile but wanted a code from here, and all in all, i messed everything up. so, now we are trying to get it back to the way duckie made it so beautifully. if your name isn't on the models list-PLEASE tell me, and i will add it. it could be that some of them got deleted so it's important that you tell me so i don't forget! also, notice our photoshoot, which was created my duckie herself! we will continue working on our profile until it is how it should be. thanks for your understanding. 6/5: i'm sorry, but a due date is a due date. we are not accepting any late photos unless you notified us in advance. since a lot of you didn't turn in your photos [with no explaination] you will be eliminated. that counts for if you turn yours in a day late, and you didn't tell us in advance. i'm sorry, but i'm going to start being a little tougher on you guys. thanks to all of the girls who did take the time to turn their picture in.

6/4: so, the pictures are due today and a lot of you haven't turned your pictures in...i thank those who have. some of you have talked to me, which i appreciate. but some of you just plain say "oh, i'll try to do that if i have time", which i don't really sympothise over all that much. as far as the eliminating goes..i'll have the models list up and i'll cross the names of the ones who have been removed from the agency [just so you know that when you see it within a week]. good luck to all of the models!

6/2: Hey guys! Wow, I have been BUSY lately [I assume all of you have too]. I'm so glad that summer is a pinch away! I can't wait to start getting down to business and really challenging you guys. Some girls have quit because they are too busy, or they never get on, so we are STILL looking for more girls. However, there will still be eliminations going on. It says only 2, but don't underestimate my eliminating powers. It'll be hard to decide though. =[ Well, have a good end of the school year if you haven't already finished!

5/22: Ok, so I have decided to change what you win a little bit. Instead of having your favorite song be on our site, you will become our site model until the next photoshoot winner is announced. It's not because of the song that you guys have chosen, it's just that some songs everyone loves, and some everyone dislikes. So, it's pretty much just a general thing! 5/13: Here is my story:
There once was a girl who joined sugarloot and looked for some modeling agencies to have fun. One day, she found one that she liked and she applied-AMAZING Models. She couldn't enter the first one, but when the secound one rolled along she tried her best to pass a strawberry as candy. Then, the third photoshoot came and she jumped for joy! It was black and white/vintage and she had the perfect idea! She took her picture with a prettyful flower and editied it to look even MORE prettyful! Then, a few days later she got this really weird message from lolipop☺ from AMAZING Models blabbing about this story. But in the end, the most important piece of the story is that she WON the photoshoot, and she jumped for joy! =)
So we finally posted the winner, but we want all the girls who participated to know that we liked everyone's entry! If we could have 50,000 winners, you guys would be there up at the top! We'll post the next photoshoot soon =)

5/1: HAPPY MAY DAY! I would give you candy, but I don't think that's possible over the computer...Just dream about it! =) There are some new models *yay* Also, the photos are due in 10 days! 4/26: oK, yes, I know, I haven't updated in a gazzillion years! BUT, I have been on and updating, just not this. [that still counts, right?] Well, we have new models and I'm SUPER excited! But..I want more! So don't forget to tell all of your friends! [this sounds like a foundraiser..sorry..] The photos are due May 10th! So you do still have a while...so far I only have two. TWO! They are both good, one of them COMPLETELY blew me away! So..get your photos in! Ok, I have decided that since this is a VERY busy time of year, I'm going to change our little requirment. You are allowed to miss 2 photoshoots-BUT they can't be two in a row. AND, you have to have a good reason! So, if you miss a photoshoot and you tell me BEFORE THE DUE DATE I will put a little "x" by your name-and that means that you have missed one. Then, when you miss ANOTHER one, I will put a "X". That means, you can no longer miss anymore photoshoots! Is that fair? Comment me and tell me what ya think! =)

3/21: I don't know for sure if it's the 21st or not, but I'll go with it...so I'm still on spring break, but I'm on my way home *sigh*. The applications are open so if any of your friends want to apply to a modeling agency, now you have one you can share! Yayers! Ok, well I will redo our entire profile, will not entire...but it's apperance at least. So be ready for that coming up soon! 3/13: Hey guys! Sorry I didn't update yesterday - I was EXTREMELY busy! I will post Emily's interview soon. I will be leaving tomorrow and I won't get back until the 22nd but I doubt that I will get on that day (I might - you never know). I would just like to say THANK YOU to all the girls who participated in our photoshoot - you all did a WONDERFUL job! We will open the applications again after spring break - NONE OF YOU ARE FIRED, WE ARE JUST GETTING SOME MORE GIRLS. I can't wait to share with you the next photoshoot!

I hope you liked the photo shoot and having me be in charge for a couple of days- (except Lolipop has still been doing most of the work since she’s been back- which I am totally thankful for.) Running an agency like this is a lot more work than it looks like- and she really makes it look easy… Thanks to everyone that has turned in your pictures early- it is a lot of help and gives you brownie points in my book! 5/26/08: Hello all! I hope all of your pictures are turing out nicely. Anyways, I just got done with surfing around iTunes and notice one of the songs in the Top 10 - "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry. I had never heard it before so I clicked on the preview and immediately could not believe my ears. I went to a lyrics website to clarify, and found that my ears were not mistaking me. The song is about a girl kissing a girl and LIKING IT. That is horrible to me! I mean seriously.. I could not believe how could someone even say those lyrics and have it be a top seller. I don't even see why someone would kiss a girl with so many hot guys in the world. Just a thought.

5/14/08: Congratulations to our winner Cookie- I really liked the photo. It had something different from all the rest. When I am judging, there are three main things I look at- The model's face - does it look interesting or just blah? - the background - I can tell if you've put effort into the photo if the scene behind you is different and not just a wall - and finally, I look to see how much the entire picture has to do with the subject of the shoot. I suggest in the future that you follow these guidelines if you want to get my vote. ;) Remember though, if you are really enjoying modeling in the photo, it will show... Hey everyone. I am sorry; it's been a while. I've been busy with so many different things lately, I can't keep track of myself. I just wanted to share some words with you that I found very insightful. "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond care. Who can understand it?" I liked this verse a lot because I found it to be very true. It seems that quite often we find ourselves forced to make a decision where our minds and hearts are making two different stands. Sadly, the heart tells us what we want to hear, instead of the utter truth that it is not always the best way to go. Today, instead of following you heart, try following the location where your dreams take place. Follow your dreams. -DucKie :)

What did you do when you first found out that you won?: I was so excited that I squealed a little and then jumped up and down on my bed.
How long did it take you to take the picture?: Actually, the pictures didn't take that long. I think altogether (make-up and photos) it took about half an hour to get two really good ones. The editing just took a while.
What are some other things you like to do besides modeling?: I like to swim, rock climb, and sing.
What are you looking forward to this summer?: I look forward to sleeping in late and having lots of time to hang out with my friends and do things that I can't do during the school year.
What do you have to say to the other models?: yes. I was so sure that I wasn't going to win this one after looking at the other pictures that were submitted. Girls, don't sell yourselves short. If you did your best, then that's it. If you believe you can do it, you can! Keep being wonderful and keep up with this, if you really love it.

What did you do when you first found out that you won?: Well I got really excited and was smiling the rest of the day :D
How long did it take you to take the picture?: Well I ran around my whole house when my parents were gone trying to think of something, then went to the 'green zone' behind my backyard fence with my neighbor, and took my pic there. So it took about 30-45 min.
What's your favorite song? (it will be posted on our site as our new site song): Oh wow that;s hard but I'm totally in love with Anyone But You by The Moldy Peaches... :D
