Tips for winning a Sugarloot Contest.
1. Nothing can beat being friendly to EVERYONE, even those who downvote you.
2. Downvoting will get you nowhere! It will only give those other people more votes, and since you spend all your time downvoting instead of getting votes...they'll probably beat you anyways.
3.Start a dailies list and STAY COMMITTED. Whether you have 2 dailies or 200, stay committed and vote every single day.
4. Keep in contact with your dailies. Talk to them, get to know them, leave them messages and tell them how much you like their pictures!
5. Check to make sure your dailies are still voting. Every few days check to see if your dailiesa re still voting for you. If it says they haven't voted in a few days, send them a message and ask if they switched to private voting, and if they just aren't voting...dump them.
6. Make use of the sharing tools. Post your entry all over your myspace. Post bulletins everyday! Tell your friends about your contests and they'll support you.
7. Go the extra mile for people! Promote each other! Ask them if you can post their entry on your myspace and if they'd do the same for you. Go to other sites they have contests in and vote for them there! Go the extra mile for them, and they'll do the same for you.
8. Use HTML as little as possible when you are posting comments or messages to people. You'll get the annoying "take a break for refreshments" message that we all hate.
9. Always post with proof! That way people can't accuse you of downvoting, and if they do they're retarded because you have PROOF that you didn't.
10. Vote for the people who are leaders in other contests. They are most likely the people that are going to respond the fastest.
11. Even though you hate to admit it...vote for those in your contest that have great pictures! Most of the time they will return the tens =] JUST LEAVE PROOF!!
12. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS return tens to the people that give you tens. If they give you a ten once, most likely they'll give you another
