I am leaving Sugarloot for a bit because I don't have time or energy to vote everyday. The last week I have been in and out of doctor's offices four times. And once I get home it is straight to bed because of how bad I reinjuried my back. I am suppose to be on bedrest, not driving at all, taking the morphine based pain pills everyday, maybe starting steriod shots in my backs, and they are talking about putting me on crutches. And this is all when I am living by myself and I have no support it seemed for a while from anyone who lives here. And if I'm not trying to rest, I'm trying get help with moving my stuff. The FRG won't help me move and the people that I thought were my friends won't so I've been trying to do the best I can. My husband's unit stepped up so hopefully by Monday all my stuff will be moved in my apartment. When everything is moved and my back gets better, I will start doing contests again and dailies. I hope you guys understand. I thought I was only going to be laid up for one to two days. But my back is how it use to be when I first got it injuried in the military. Sorry again friends and dailies. I wish you all the best of luck on your entries and I will try to stay in much contact as possible. Thanks for all your help, support, and concern!!!!!
In memory of Paul. My brother in arms that lost his life earlier this week. I just found out. He was my airborne brother and we were going to get matching airborne tattoos after graduating from Fort Benning. I didn't make it that far because of getting injured, but he did. I was very proud of him. Please watch this video and take a moment to remember the fallen and their families.
I love you Paul and I wish I was there for you. You loved my tattoo and now you are a part of it. Which means you will always be with me. You will never be forgotten. You will always be in my heart big brother.
For the ones that made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. Especially the ones I sweated with, trained with, and couldn't be there for in Iraq because I got injured. I'll miss you guys, God speed. Y'all are the reason why I have the soldier's cross tattooed on my back. Because y'all will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
This graphic expresses me and my husband so much. I'm the bad ass army wife, as my husband says, because I know exactly what he's going through since I was in the military. And, he is the soldier who is doing an honorable job for both of us since I'm not back in yet because of an injury I received while I was in.
My name is April and I joined SugarLoot on June 19. My husband, Mingo, is currently deployed in the army as a combat medic. We got married this past May 30th. I'm trying to get use to being a military wife since I was in the military. Army wife is different from being a Army soldier. No more shooting or doing hardcore stuff anymore. I just support my man who does all the fun stuff. If you want to know more about me or my husband comment or email me at mortal.darkangel@yahoo.com.
