TABLE 1
The
SugarLoot
Leader Board will only show you 2 digits of your rating or score.
Whether it is 9.49 or 9.41
you will only see 9.4.
In the actuality, there are 3 digits existing and they are shown
on the tables of my examples This is to let you understand the
mechanism behind while the 3rd digits are being hidden by SL.
Notice
that Entry A (Table
1, blue bar) having the highest
number of votes 4,200 occupies the 1st rank eventhough it is
the lowest in the 9.4 group. It
is then followed by those with lower votes in descending order.
When
Entry
A with 4,200 votes recieves a downvote, its rating will drastically
change from 9.40 to
9.39 and will drop down from No.1 to No.5 (Table 2, blue
bar) just below Entry E. This explains why in the hell one score
would be on top and suddeny be at the bottom with just a single
downvote.

TABLE 2
While
on the other hand, when Entry D (Table 1, rank 4, yellow bar)
with 150 votes recieves a single vote of a 10, it's total votes
will now be 151 and its rating will go up drastically from 9.49
to 9.50. Since it has the highest
score, it will now shoot up to the top from No.4 to No.1 (Table
2, yellow bar) eventhough it has only 151 votes. But remember,
you need about 300 votes to qualify in the final tally.
If
these two entries are followed by alternating good and bad votes
it will keep jumping up and down as you might have seen in the
actual SL Leader Board. It is because they are at the threshold
zone where they need only few votes to cross that lower and
upper limits of the score.
