The Gelato Shoppe Petrini was founded in March 2007. We are a gourmet cafe that specializes in gelato. The Gelato Shoppe Petrini is a dream come true for the founders Mauro Petrini and Dawn Wolstein-Petrini. Prior to moving to America, Mauro and Dawn fine tuned their culinary skills by collaborating with the gelato masters of Italy’s finest dessert school, Artigeniale. In order to perfect their skills, Mauro and Dawn teamed up with Gelateria Flipet, a well-known gelato shop just outside the city of Torino, considered to be one of Italy’s gelato capitals. With a dream and a passion to make gelato, the Petrinis set off to America on a mission to make their gelato shop dream come true. In a few months The Gelato Shoppe Petrini was created.
Our shop holds true to it's Italian heritage with a style based on the streets of Italy. It's gorgeous marble counters and wood cabinetry will make you feel like you are sitting in an Italian Gelataria.
The Gelato Shoppe Petrini is proud to say that they are the only gelato shop in Boca Raton, FL to specialize in kosher gelato. This includes parve and dairy gelato. We even carried kosher for Passover gelato.
The gelato and sorbets are prepared everyday in-house in The Gelato Shoppe Petrini's creamery using fresh and natural ingredients, which include seasonal fruits, nut butters and the finest European chocolate. We have carefully selected the finest ingredients and put our suppliers through a rigorous interviewing process in order to ensure the integrity and quality of our gourmet creations.
