meet allison...
so once i had this thought that maybe my dream could come true. i was reading lisi harrison's website when i saw the opportunity to audition for The Clique. Of course I started filming right away. I went through hours of trying to get the perfect video. Once I recorded the best audition video possible, I tried to upload it. It didn't work. Sadly, I had to start over. Being a little let down by my camera failing, my second video was no where as good as the first. I just couldnt get any other video as good as the first. I uploaded my okay video onto sugarloot anyways, hoping the judges could see my fresh talent. After a long journey of getting mroe than 1000 votes, I wasn't even chosen as one of the 5 girls to audition. I was offered one of the voters choice prizes, but turned it down since my only goal was to be in this movie. I congratulate the 5 lucky girls that got to audition: macie, vee, georgia, lindsey, and juliana. Glad you were able to possibly start your career.
So just because I failed at this one contest, doesnt mean I have to give up. I am determined to become and actress and singer. No one can stop me. My goal now is to get more experienced...rejoin the choir or take vocal lessons. Practice hard anough to earn the lead role in my school play. Romeo and Juliet by the way. Auditions are January 8th so I will post the hopefully good news then! :) Also, I want to thank the people that stuck with me through all the voting and critiqueing during the clique contest. Thank you Audrey, Olivia Grace, Lauren, Vee, and every other voter that got me to 36th place out of the thousands of entries there were. Thanks you guys. I have talked to all of you and know you are all extremely sweet girls, and maybe some day we will see each other on the big screen!
oh...and if you havent heard...AUDREYis going to be the best female vocalist some day. Just wait. And maybe...I will be right behind her, but my voice isnt as good as her. audrey will you teach me? :) yay!
a little more about me...
my life is pretty crazy. but also awesomely fun. i really don't think i could survive without a little bit of chaos :] i love sports. i play softball, basketball, and volleyball. golf and tennis are fun in my spare time. i am a cheerleader, diver and pianist. i love drama! ahhh...i cant wait for drama camp this summer. yay! i can be a serious girly girl. i spend too long getting ready in the morning for school :] i have no frikken idea what i would do without my make-up and chi. the other day i thought my chi had died...because it wouldnt heat up, but then i was told to press the little button above the outlet. it works. i love to shop. forever 21 is the best. i also like ae, hco, abercrombie, and the lotus boutique. alloy and delias are great. gosh...i love watching law and order:SVU, gossip girl, harry potter, and good old home videos. who doesnt? i love to read...and yes go ahead and make fun of me for being a book worm. harry potter is the obsession. the clique is pretty awesome too. i hear that the it girl, and the a-list are great books and i want to read them too. twilight is said to be addicting. i havent read it though. nothing can beat harry potter and the deathly hallows.

february 29th-Rehearsals for the last two weeks have been all dancing. We have to learn a dance to Hey Juliet, I have to learn a dance to Sweet Escape, and then we have to learn a walts to some rennasaince music. omg and we are doing the cupid shuffle...its gonna be hysterical!!! I still dont have my dresses made...gosh im running out of time. Costume check is in like a month!!!
january 30th-change of plans. i am supposed to have a ballgown and a casual dress for my two costumes. wow. okay...so getting two dresses sewn in time will be hard. o well. mondays practice went great, i only had 4 lines in that part tho. tomorrow is the balcony scene. :)
january 26th-ahhh! today i got the fabric and stuff for my ball gown! i got the pattern too. it is gonna be GORGEOUS! i hope. it is going to be mostly navy-royal blue and gold. with all sorts of gold trim and ribbon. i cant really explain it but once its made, ill take pictures. and i got a mask too. it is sooooooooooo perfetc. it sounds silly, but it really actually looks good. it is a fushiaa mask with gold trim and ribbony curls everywhere...i took a picture wearing it (lookin like a dork) but my camera battery died and i cant upload my pics yet. i have pratice for i think scene 6 and 7 monday. updates possibly then.
january 16th-at the meeting today i finally found out that i only need two costumes. a nightgown, and a ballgown. i am so excited! the nightgown will most likely be white, empire waist, floor length and flowy. maybe 2 ince sleevs on that dress. im hoping my ballgown will be reddish-maroon and gold. either poofy sleeves or 3/4 length. it will probly have a hoop skirt. haha. i dont really know the details on that dress, it will be made soon tho and then i will see! yay! oh and i need a gold mask, because it is a masquerade ball. if anyone is like a fashion designer and has any tips on a good design for my costume let me know!
january 10th-OMG! i got the part i dreamed of! juliet is MINE!!! okay so it was really wierd/amazing. the teacher called everyone that auditioned into this little room. she handed out envelopes to everyone and told us to all open at the same time...we opened it to see the cast names and who would be playing them. and there my name was, second from the top, underneath juliet. words cant explain how excited i am!!! especially since there are only 4 girl parts in the play, and so many tried out for these parts. if any of you wants details comment me!

During my Nurse audition, all the judges laughed, which is a plus :) and during my auditions for juliet, one judge looked all red and said that she was about to cry it was so good. I didn't feel that I did that good of a job, but if she said so :)! i find out what part o get on thursday! news will be posted right away!!!

this section of my profile will be dedicated to j.k. rowling, and the harry potter series. some of you think the harry potter books are stupid and a waste of time, but DANG, you don't know what you are missing. i just finished the last book and don't know how long I cried that it was over. i'm sure those that love harry potter can't believe that it took so long for me to read the book. well it's a long story and i didn't even get to start the book until 2008. i probably read half of it in less than 24 hours. but since then i tried to read slower so it wouldnt be over so soon (100 pages per day) i swear, if i could have a 3 wishes right now it would be:
•to get a part in the remaining two harry potter films(meet the amazing cast and crew)
•j.k. rowling write more books dealing with harry's life or his sons and daughter
•that these wishes would come true :)
so you see how desperate and obsessed i am with harry potter. gosh i can tell you if it was real, i would be one of the first to have joined dumbledore's army, and also volunteerily have died for harry potter. oh and i cant wait for the harry potter theme park to open in 2009!!!!
