Who am I? I know you'd like to find out. And I know I sound like all the other gossip blogs on here, but here's the thing: I'm Not.
All I'm here to do is tell you what's in and what's out. Because some of you have got it all, and some of you are beyond clueless. I aim to change that.
So read on for what's hot and what's no here and the fabo site of Sugarloot.
What's Hot Being Bored of SL: Although a rather obnoxious trend (why be on here if you are bored?) it is a trend nonetheless. Trendstarters: Kerry- she was the first person to my knowledge to post about her boredom with the site. Twilight : The new it book is by far Twilight. It's making premiers on everyone's profile and there is even an Edward Cullen fansite. Trendstarters: Vee and Courtney I think? Some say a girl named Audrey who quit...With Vee advertising eclipse and Courtney's twilight covered profile, (even her profile photo) these girls definitely started a craze. Victorian Backgrounds: even I had to succumb to this trend. They are just too gorgeous! Unfortunately, they were a lot more gorgeous when only a few people had them. Trendstarters: Mae and Casey?(I know Mae, not so sure about Casey) Photoshoots: all of the sudden, girls who were so distraught over their acting skills being dissed by WP [as in not winning the clique contest] are turning to modeling as a new creative outlet. Some are good, some are not, but either way they're fun to do and fun to look at! Trendstarters:Vee, Lo, Mae Classy Gossip: sure, Gossip Girl seems to be a lot of peoples' guilty pleasures, but more and more people are turning to M for the real deal. She doesn't sugarcoat things, nor does she lie to make things better. She just tells it like it is, plain and simple. Trendstarter: M [obviously] Themed Profiles: another trend I happen to love. a ton of people are beginning to make their profiles themed, from the very cute [vintage, cupcakes] to the very unique [changing every day, using celebs, etc. etc.] Trendstarter: Vee Monologues: I guess this is compensation for losing the Clique contest. a lot of people are now posting monologues on their profile to show off their real talents, perhaps to spite WP for losing some prime talent? Trendstarter: the first one I saw was Casey's, but that might have been b ecause she advertised it asking for comments. did I miss someone? Long Usernames: kind of a weird trend, but still a trend. most of them have to do with asking for votes on contests, but some are just out there. I mean really people! Trendstarter: Vee, again. she had all those ones like Vee is STRESSING OUT which grew longer and looooonger and looooooonger Book Sites: wowee we sure have some talent that doesn't involve a pretty [or not so pretty in some cases] face! people are beginning to show off their god-given talent for writing on profiles made specifically for their books! some are even holding site model contests! neato, huh? Trendstarter: Mari, with her book Annie Fun Modeling Agencies: sure none [well, a very small number of us] of us will ever be real models, but we can perfect out skills and our photogenic smiles with fun modeling agencies. the agencies that have great shoots, amazing models, and realize that we're only on Sugarloot, not the pinnacle [top] of the fashion world! Trendstarter: no exact starter, but one of the earliest ones I saw was Platinum Management.
What's Out The Clique : The Clique was the reason SO many girls came to this site but honestly ladies we've been waiting on the edge of our seats for so long to find out who won- it's getting kind of old if you ask me. Who Ruined it: EVERYONE, come on people get over it! Vee: sorry girlie, I'm just telling it like it is. she's stopped answering out comments, stopped caring, she might as well just quit SL. no one likes her all that much anymore. Who Ruined It: Vee herself, obviously. Trashy Gossip: with people like M around, who needs to listen to lies and bad sources anymore? done, done, and hopefully gone! Who Ruined It: Gossip Girl Icon Overload: people need to stop covering their profiles with icons, because it's beginning to blind people. let's keep it short and sweet, and 10 icons or under perhaps? Who Ruined It: too many people to count! Begging People for Votes: we're sick of it! every time you sign in and you go on front of the browse people page, you're bombarded with people asking for votes, begging for a comment, etc. etc.! why are we going to vote for you if we're annoyed? most likely, we're just going to click delete! Who Ruined It: uh, EVERYONE! Hacking: this one doesn't need much of an explanation. it's become extremely annoying, and just plain rude! c'mon people, show some respect! Who Ruined It: Tae Serious Modeling Agencies: I mean really people. do you have to lord it over us that you run a "modeling agency" by turning down girls left and right, then mistreating the girls who you handpicked to be your "top models"? c'mon, it's just a stupid website, not the end of the world! these agencies should be all about having a good time and showing off peoples' talents, and that means accepting everyone and treating them well. got that? Who Ruined It: my sources tell me the Couture Model Management was one of the earliest, once I find more I'll be sure to post them. Fansites for Random People: okay, we get that Lo and Mae are gorgeous, get that Casey and Bianca are talented, but for goodness sakes people stop making the random fansites! it drives people insane to know that they're not getting a fansite, and it leads some people to think that the girls themselves made the fansites! [which is true part of the time but whatever] all they do are create drama and ruin reputations, that's all. Who Ruined It: TBT [she made the Casey/Bianca fansite/hatesite]
Faking It: a lot of people have been commenting me about this, and I have to agree. people have to stop faking things! you fake your pictures, fake your votes... we hardly know who to trust anymore! Who Ruined It: again, like a GAZILLION people
