Hey, my name's Jennifer.
I really prefer 'Jenn'.
Although, my in-it-deep name is Jennifer Rose.
and my nicknames consist of Beethoven, Einstein, Hamburger, Yao Ming, etc.

I would prefer if you'd just call me Jenn.

I am not going to tell you my life story and hope that you pity me. I'm not like that.

I would appreciate it if you wouldn't say the word 'dick'. I would also appreciate it if you wouldn't say the word 'dyke'. But, if you like, you can say 'Dick Van Dyke', because I don't have any sort of problem with him.

I guess you can call me really paranoid. Because I'm stupid like that. I mean, i'm not stupid. I get straight A's, my common sense just...lacks. I'm just about the most insecure person in the world, which in turn means that i'll need frequent reassurance that you're not annoyed by me, which will probably annoy you on its own. I guess that's a catch-22 of sorts.

The only two things i'll eat are stale flour tortillas and caesar salad. i'm a veghead, too, so never invite me over your house for dinner because i mess everything up with my dietary complications. i also will never eat anything that isn't cold. real picky, yo.

I coach little kids football (yes, i do, shut up), take ballet two days a week, Jazz two days a week, piano lessons once a week, and cheerleading twice a week, so i guess i'm busy? And when i'm not doing that, i'm texting you until your phone or you explodes. Or writing things -- songs, my novel, more songs, poetry, more songs. I do that a lot. Too much, actually. I should cut back. And in the breathing room between all of those activites, lies my favorite, acting!


Acting is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone. It's what helps me get through every day life. It's what helps me through my family's problems, the way that kids hate me and torture me at school, the heartbreak that i'm trying to get over at the moment.
Without it, I wouldn't be here right now.
And, I'm not exaggerating.
Acting saved my life.
I mean, you forget about yourself. you forget about those around you. You let go, you let loose, and you BECOME SOMEONE ELSE. If you've ever heard the Leonardo DiCaprio quote, you'll know what I mean.

By the way, I'm becoming quite the guitar junkie.
