SB#1
Most of you will remember the days when the clique contest started. Everyone wanted to win the prize so there was a massive increase in the ‘Loot’s population. The time passed and the lucky winners were announced and the term “sugarloot celebrity” was born. Some disappointed girls left but others remained as they had already made a lot of friends. New people kept registering and unique ideas appeared: the first modelling sites, books and others. There were also fights, gossip sites (Gossip Girl, M) and mean girls.
While some won’t admit that these “negative” things actually made sugarloot more interesting, I must say it is true. Now that the gossip sites have disappeared the interest in posting in here has gone down. The acting contest was supposed to attract more members but it seems as if it wasn’t as good as The Clique contest.
The reality is this: sugarloot is becoming monotonous. There’s nothing new. We can even see that some sugarloot “celebrities” are leaving (eg: Lo). What is going on in here? Is it time to leave sugarloot in the past and move on? I’ll leave this up to you.

Interviewing Jill
Most of you know Jill as a nice and talkative girl. This is a look deep inside her personatlity
N: What made you want to join in sugarloot in the first place?
J: I originally came here for The Clique Movie contest last summer. Once the contest was over I left but came back in November and have been here ever since! I've had about 3 different profiles so I didn't join on May 12, I joined in July of last year.
N: It seems like many of the “popular” girls are leaving. Don’t you sometimes feel like leaving? And, what makes you want to stay?
J: Sometimes I do feel like leaving because of the drama and the horrible people that are on this site. What makes me stay is my friends! I wouldn't be doing this interview right now without them. There are so many amazing people on this site and the contest are very awesome from my perspective, why would I want to leave that behind? I think it's very rude when the popular girls say they are leaving and complain about Sugarloot then stay. If they are busy they should just say they're busy and come online when they can. But if they complain and everything then don't leave then they are just stupid. I do understand some people's reasons for leaving, but most of the time if it's from a popular girl it's stupid.
N: I can see you are part of many agencies. What do you like about modeling?
J: It's just sooo fun! I always do photoshoots with my best friend which makes modeling even more fun then it is! I love finding the perfect outfit and location for each photoshoot even though it can be difficult at times. I always have a blast though!
N: I also know that you like writing. What inspires you when writing? Do you have any favourite authors?
J: When I do write, it's usually about what I'm feeling at that time or just some random thing I was thinking about. Writing is a good, and healthy, way to express yourself. My favorite authors are Stephanie Meyer, I am a huge Twilight fan; Zoey Dean, the A-List one of my favorite series; Kate Brian, the Private series are in my opinion better then Twilight; and Lisi Harrison, I'm a Clique fan even though the books seem to be getting worse. I am a total bookworm so I read a lot and that helps me in my writing.
N: The population of sugarloot is really varied. We have models, writers, photographers, etc. and all of them/most want to be famous. Do you have any advice for them?
J: Just to not give up on their dream. I know people hear that a lot but it's true. If you stop trying you won't get anywhere. Even if you do all this hard work and don't get what you want in the end, you know you tried your hardest.
N: If you where in a deserted island and you could only take one of your sugarloot friends with you, who would it be && why?
J: Ahhh, do I have to answer this? Well I'm choosing two! I would choose Hannah and Allison. Me and Hannah actually had gotten in a fight and she messaged me to apologize when she was going to leave Sugarloot. But we talked and became friends and she decided to stay. She is so sweet and we have a lot in common. Allison is probably the nicest girl you will ever meet here on Sugarloot. I met her through a hate site that someone made about her. She is always there when I need her and is an amazing friend! I love them both sooo much :)
N: Finally, what are your thoughts on the sugarloot of nowadays?
J: Sugarloot is still as fun as it was before, most people just say it's boring because they don't do anything to make it fun. I hate it when people complain how much Sugarloot sucks because it doesn't, they just chose to make it that way. I do wish Sugarloot was more like it used to be, and I hope other people help in rebuilding the Sugarloot we used to have with the gossip sites, modeling agencies, books, and all those awesome sites!

Just Perfect
That was the first time I saw him. Just he and his acoustic guitar. Wearing his favorite torn jeans and a plain white t-shirt. Not paying attention to anything or anyone. Not even noticing my presence. He seemed to be inside his own little capsule where he only concentrated on the sound of his music.
His fingers escalated the guitar strings making sweet but melancholic melodies. It seemed as if the guitar notes couldn’t satisfy his anxiety and he just wanted more and more, not stopping, playing an interminable solo. I was hypnotized, completely floating on his sound-waves.
I instantly felt attracted towards him. I mean, not in an “OH MY GOD, YERRR SOOO HAWT!”-way, just in a sort of weird, –could even say strange-, way. I didn’t quite understand why though. I couldn’t understand why. He wasn’t that hot looking, I mean; he didn’t have abs or a manly looking face. Not exactly my type. He was just another average boy, cute but not insanely cute. It seemed as if I had been put under his magic spell. I knew there was something about him….something special. Very special.
“TONI!” My father shouted from the door of our brand new house. “Get inside the house; I have to show you your new bedroom. I’m sure you’ll love it.” I stopped staring at the mysterious guy.
“I’m coming!” I answered. I picked up my backpack and walked inside the house.
Jeez, I’ve been talking all about this random guy and I haven’t even presented myself! God I’m rude. Anyway, my name is Toni Foeble. Yes I know what you’re thinking, weird name for a girl but what can I do about it? So yeah, I’ve just moved from all-mighty-L.A to the smallest town you could ever imagine, Hancock, Michigan. My father works…well, used to work for a tourism agency back in L.A, but…he got fired. So, what a better idea to move to his hometown? I would say a very bad one. I mean, there aren’t even decent jobs in this stupid place.
“Hurry up Toni! I have a surprise for you.” My father exclaimed. I run up the stairs and…
Ew, all of the walls were pink with hello kitty stuff all over the place. It looked like a pink hell. Who the hell had done this to my new room!?
“Like it? I knew you would love it.” My father smiled…and he wasn’t being sarcastic. Oh my god, I was destined to live in such a horrible place.
“Ehh sure dad. I so love it. Now, can you please leave me alone? I need to unpack everything, you know.” I said pushing him out of the room and closing the door. I sighed deeply as I inspected every corner of my new room. Pink, pink, hello kitty, pink…I was going to drown in pinkness!
I bounced on my bed as I sat on it. At least the cover of the bed was plain white. All this suddenly-moving situation hadn’t struck me really hard until that moment. I realized I already missed my friends, my school, and my life . I needed some fresh air, just to cool down my feelings. I opened the window...and the boy was opening his window as well.
Oh my god, I couldn’t believe his bedroom was only 5 meters away from mine. Wow, it was like my wildest dream come true...well not really, but still. I smiled. He blushed. He seemed really shy. I was sure he wasn’t going to do the first move so it was a talk-to-him-or-die situation. So…
“Hi.” He said, smiling shyly. “You just moved here, right?” I didn’t expect him to talk. I completely blushed away.
And FINALLY the first issue is complete! Many have been asking where I got the name from. Nu is the Egyptian creation. Nu is a magazine which symbolizes the creation of something new to sugarloot. This is why I chose the name
Special thanks to Jill our cover model and all the readers.
