Through years of study, love of music and 9 years of experience Kevin Redden has become a dominating force in the world of entertainment. Born and raised in Lynn, Ma Kevin was always encouraged to pursue his musical abilities. From the beginning Kevin always had a natural ear for music and gets the greatest satisfaction watching other people enjoying themselves. Kevin’s parents Fred and Marcia Redden, and Grandmother Mary Cocks, raised Kevin to appreciate all types of music and always keep an open mind when it comes to newer music. As a teenager Kevin put his dreams of being a singer to rest and start concentrating on his future. Kevin planned on being an engineer just like his father and hero Frederick Redden. He has also demonstrated a very mechanical and creative mind. Kevin went to Lynn Voc Tech High School for Machine Drafting. In junior year of high school, March of 1992 Kevin lost the man that he looked up to more than anyone. Immediately he lost his love for Engineering and spent many years in many different jobs and just couldn’t find anything he was really good at or loved like he did with engineering and design. Finally one day Kevin and His good friend till this day, Phil Burrill went to karaoke at Weylus. He got up on stage and sang a Billy Ray Cyrus song for the first time and the crowd went crazy. Since then he has been a karaoke addict. Kevin used to spend at least 4-7 nights a week out partying and performing in front of karaoke crowds anytime he could. Making friends all over New England including other djs and karaoke hosts. One day at karaoke, Kevin was hired as a karaoke Dj with Ann Lamphear Karaoke. Kevin Spent the next few years working every job he could to gain experience and earn his stripes as a dj. Under the encouragement of his good friend and mentor Johnny Raye of Cd Express, Kevin opened KJ Mix Entertainment (Named after his first dj name KJMix1). Now free to book his own jobs and run his own shows the way he wants to KJ Mix Entertainment continued to thrive and work in all of the 6 New England States and opened doors to other opportunities. Kevin has gone on to have employed and train several people in the business who have gone on to become djs and artists on their own. Kevin has amazed and revolutionized the entertainment industry. With his unique approach of incorporating the old with the new. He has employed dance and street teams, artists, and even the youngest djs in the business to make his shows and events a success. In Feb of 2004 Kevin moved his business and his family to Manchester, NH to open his own production company and stopped working clubs and bars. Phoenix Flies Productions is the result of years of hard work and there is much more to come STAY TUNED!!!
